How these clocks work
Each clock uses the IANA time zone database built into your browser, the same data phones and computers use, so daylight saving time is applied the moment a city changes its clocks. “Office hours” means 9 AM to 5 PM on the local working days, and the weekend is taken into account: most countries rest on Saturday and Sunday, but Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bangladesh and Israel, among others, rest on Friday and Saturday.

Are the city times accurate and live?
Yes. The times come from the IANA time zone database built into your browser and adjust automatically for daylight saving time, following each city’s own rules. Keeping your browser updated keeps its time zone data current.
How do I know if offices are open in another city?
Search the city: the card says whether offices are open right now, using 9 AM to 5 PM on local working days, and when they next open or close. It knows the local weekend, so Riyadh, Cairo, Dhaka and Tel Aviv, which rest on Friday and Saturday, are shown correctly.
Can I keep my own list of cities?
